Just looking at these makes me wince in fearful anticipation of taking that inevitable wrong step. I can easily imagine the aftermath: One injured shoe-blogger planted pathetically on the couch with an iced-wrapped ankle – mentally berating herself for believing she could successfully carry these off.Ladies, these are for expert heel aficionados only. No amateurs need apply.
However, these double-platform marvels by Gianmarco Lorenzi give me certain pause.
I love heels. And while they are a minority in my collection, I am no stranger to stilettos. I have been wearing heels, including stilettos, off and on for the better part of two decades and generally don’t have any issues finding my balance on a typical stiletto heel.

I didn’t understand what they were talking about, because this is what I found.
I kept reading about the Nicholas Kirkwood shoes for Rodarte shown in New York being ultra high and made to look like melted candle wax.
